Dirt and germs on surfaces can be reliably removed with the efficient replacement pads for the CleanTenso Power steam cleaner from Leifheit. The replacement pads are made of 100% microfibre and absorb dirt particles perfectly. They provide intensive cleaning performance and reliably remove dirt, viruses and bacteria* from almost every floor. Thanks to the convenient Velcro fastening, the Leifheit mop pads can be easily removed and reattached. After use, the mop pads for the steam cleaner can be washed at 60 degrees and are then hygienically clean and ready for their next use. Leifheit’s replacement pads are available as a set of two. *Tested on modified vaccinia virus Ankara and on E. coli bacteria.- The replacement microfibre pads bind the dirt and ensure intensive cleaning performance

Safety instructions
- Please read the instruction manual carefully before using the device and keep in a safe place for further use or for subsequent owners.
- Only use the device with accessories and spare parts approved by Leifheit. Any use going beyond this is considered improper and can cause damage or injury.
- The surfaces of the device may become hot during use

- This device can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge if they have been supervised or instructed in the safe use of the device and understand the resulting hazards involved.
- Children are not allowed to play with the device.
- The packaging material (plastic bags, polystyrene, etc.) is a potential source of danger and must be kept out of the reach of children. Check the device after unpacking to ensure that it is undamaged. If in doubt, do not use the device contact Customer Service instead.
- Only use the device when it is fully assembled and in working order.
- Only operate the steam cleaner with the voltage specified on the label on the back of the device.
- Do not use adapters, multiple sockets and/or extension cables if possible. If this should be necessary, only use those that comply with the safety regulations and never exceed the maximum power indicated on the adapter.
- Lay the power cable so that is does not pose a tripping hazard, or become squeezed or kinked.
- Check the floor cleaning cloth for wear before each use. The cloth must be not used if it is visibly worn! Your flooring could be damaged!
- Do not leave the device unattended while it is connected to the power supply.
- Improper use or improper repairs can cause considerable danger for the user and invalidate the warranty. Please consult Leifheit Customer Service if any repairs are necessary.
- Do not use the plug or the steam cleaner with wet hands.
- Do not allow hands or feet to get under the steam cleaner during operation as it becomes very hot and can cause burns.
- Do not use the appliance in close proximity of corrosive or explosive substances to prevent explosions and short circuits.
- Do not use the steam cleaner on leather, waxed furniture or floors, synthetic fabrics, velvet or on steam-sensitive materials.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all parts of the body away from the openings. Never direct the liquid or the steam jet towards electrical sockets or equipment containing electrical components, such as oven interiors, etc.
- Never turn the appliance upside down or on its side during use.
- Do not allow electrical components (on/off switch, etc.) to come into contact with water. Should the appliance accidentally fall into water, the power plug must be disconnected immediately. Never reach into the water to remove the appliance. There is a risk of electric shock!
- The power cable must not come into contact with sharp edges or hot surfaces.
- Avoid pulling on the cable or carrying the appliance by the cable. If you want to remove the power plug from the socket, never pull on the power cable, always on the plug instead. Do not use the appliance if the power cable or plug is damaged. In this case, contact Customer Service.
- Wind the cable around the two cable holders provided to avoid damaging the cable.
- Only operate the steam cleaner on flat, horizontal surfaces (not on walls, work surfaces or windows). Be particularly careful when cleaning stairs. Do not place the appliance on stairs or furniture as this may cause injury or damage.
- Do not operate the steam cleaner without water in the water tank.
- Do not carry the appliance by the handle of the water tank.
- Do not insert any objects into the openings of the appliance.
- The appliance must not be used if it has been dropped, if there is obvious damage or if it is leaking. If in doubt, call the Leifheit Service Hotline.
- Do not use the steam cleaner in a closed room with vapours, solvent-based paints, thinner, flammable dust or other explosive or toxic vapours.
- Allow the steam cleaner to cool down sufficiently before removing the microfibre cloth.
- Switch off the steam cleaner before removing the plug from the socket.
- Keep the appliance away from flammable materials such as curtains, drapes, etc.
- Do not clean over floor sockets.
- Do not use the appliance to heat rooms.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended when plugged into the socket. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket: – when not in use or if you are not going to use the appliance for a long period of time – before cleaning or servicing – during a thunderstorm.
- Keep the appliance out of the reach of children when it is switched on or cooling down.
- Allow the appliance to cool down completely before storing.
- Ensure the appliance is stable.
- Do not store or use the appliance outdoors. Do not expose the appliance to temperatures below freezing point.
- This appliance must be earthed. In the event of a malfunction or failure, earthing allows the current to flow away easily, thus reducing the risk of electric shock.
- This appliance is equipped with an earthing contact and earthing contact plug[11]. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate socket that is correctly installed and earthed and complies with local regulations.
- CAUTION! Incorrect connection of the earthing contact can lead to an electric shock. If you have any doubts, have an electrician or specialist check whether the connection is correctly earthed. Do not modify the device plug. If it does not fit into the socket, have a specialist electrical company fit an appropriate socket. The appliance is designed for an operating voltage of 230 volts and has a earthing contact plug.
- Never use the steam cleaner without the microfibre floor cloth.
- Do not add any descaling agents, aromatic or alcoholic products, cleaning solutions, fragrances, oils or other chemicals to the water tank.
- The evaporation of chemicals in the liquids can cause serious damage to health. To avoid the build-up of deposits, we recommend the general use of distilled water (commercially available).
- Never remove the water tank when the steam cleaner is in use.
- Only use the steam cleaner when the fresh water tank is filled.
- If water leaks from the appliance unexpectedly and at points not intended for proper operation, disconnect the mains plug immediately[11] and do not touch it again. There is a risk of electric shock! Please call the Leifheit service hotline!
- Always disconnect the mains plug from the socket before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance work.
